Drawing upon the firm’s tax background, the firm assists clients in structuring the new ventures in tax efficient manners.
Compliance
We provide ongoing counsel to our business clients by providing annual compliance with entity obligations, including documenting shareholder and director meetings as well as filing forms as required by applicable state law in order to keep the entity in compliance with its obligations.
Business Counsel
We provide general business counsel to our clients, advising shareholders, partners, directors and executives on matters related to the ownership and operation of their respective businesses. We are also frequently the first phone call from clients regarding new opportunities or challenges and the firm provides the strategic advice necessary to move the process forward. In addition, our firm has experience in negotiating and mediating dissolutions of business relationships.
Contracts
We often review, draft and negotiate business contracts, including contractor agreements, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, and employment contracts.
